No review this time kids, just wanted to drop a line and let you know Bleu’s album is now available for download over on his PledgeMusic page.
I have listened to it a few times already. It may not be what you expect at first. There are a lot more electronic elements and the songs are much more rhythmic, but deep down is Bleu’s great songwriting, talking about truth’s in life and love.
Really, this electronic element has been there from the start. At times the album harkens back to his first album, “Headroom”, but on a much bigger scale. It might not be for everyone, but there are awesome moments on this record, and it’s definitely worth getting if you are a Bleu fan.
In other release news, there are a few things of note:
- The Boy Least Likely To – “The Great Perhaps” has been released widely on iTunes, Amazon, and elsewhere. It’s another great collection from them.
- Kim Richey – “Thorn In My Heart” also came out. It is pretty good, a bit more folky than the last, but some great beautiful songs here. (iTunes – with bonus tracks, Amazon)
- Teammate – “The Sequel EP” came out also, for fans of Scott Simons, grab on! (Gumroad)
